| When performing the final tightening of the nut,
torque both sides to 50 ft. lbs.
When inserting rubber mount, confirm the rubber mount is facing with “out” showing. Use only a graphite or silicon based lubricant to assist mount sliding in. Do not use a petroleum based lubricant. Push the red rubber mount in by hand only, do not push mount in by tightening the nut. The RSDN bushing “DOES NOT REPLACE THE HD RUBBERMOUNT” It goes in one way only inside the hollow rubbermount which inturn asborbs the play in swing arm. After install, make sure your bike is properly aligned.

your original mounts.

Refer to your Harley Davidson Maintenance Manual for disassembly and removal of the Harley Davidson pivot shaft and installation of your new Glide-Pro shaft. You can also visit your local Harley Davidson mechanic. |
